City Centre Hotels
From the medieval city centre of Krakow it's easy to visit the many sights and attractions of this beautiful city. Also very convenient for eating out and a spot of shopping.
As you can see from the Krakow city centre map above, the Market Square is right in the heart of the medieval old town centre. On the edge of the old town there's a ring of trees and gardens, called the Planty, which replaced the demolished city walls formerly protecting the centre of Krakow. The ancient "Royal Route" (very faint on the map) leads directly southwards from the Market Square to the regal Wawel Castle, which is perched above the city on the banks of the Vistula River.
