Excellent location between castle and market.
Staff members are very helpful and welcoming.
Twin rooms tend to be on the small side.

Our Review

The Monopol Hotel boasts a fantastic location which acts as a good base for exploring. Many guests do state that rooms at the front of the hotel can get a little noisy with trams running directly outside. This hotel is a basic but clean and comfortable 3 star which offers good value for money and good service.

Disappointed that hotel bar and restaurant were closed for refurbishment... resturant was unavailable except for breakfast... There is a small bar which was not expensive ... pleasant bar... HOTEL BAR SHUT EARLY ONE NIGHT ... The hotel food was excellent ... pleasant bar... would not recommend restaurant! ... The bar has a wide range of drinks and a couple of draft beers... Service was slow in restaurant and bar but efficient at reception...
