The Novotel Centrum Hotel is housed in a modern building, which stands out amid the surrounding historic edifices and, in some respects, recall the socialist-realist architecture of the Communist era. Fairly spacious, the lobby is appointed in a bright, modern style, with lots of stripped pine and a compact seating area. The 198 sleekly designed guestrooms are functional and comfortable in the traditional Novotel fashion, with neutral colour schemes and soft furnishings. They are clean and well maintained, as are the tiled en suite bathrooms. The Garden Brasserie Restaurant, located on the ground floor and tucked away behind the reception area, makes extensive use of glass and steel fittings and large windows, bringing much natural daylight. It serves both international cuisine and regional specialities. The hotel also offers a recreation centre: the ideal place to unwind with a swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi and massage service.
