This hotel boasts an excellent location in the city centre. Another top location for those wanting to be in the heart of the city. The rooms vary in size but all are clean and comfortable. This is an old building with lots of character situated on a busy street, Florianska, so the noise level may be a problem for some guests.
The Pod Roza Hotel is a historic townhouse, which blends in beautifully with the surrounding architecture. The lobby is small but elegantly appointed with a very high ceiling and gleaming polished wood reception desk. Decorated in a classic style, with white walls, parquet floors and dark wood fittings, the 57 guestrooms none the less boast up to date facilities, as the building was only restored to its present state quite recently. All are maintained in exceptional condition, as are the en suite bathrooms. The hotel’s Italian restaurant – “Amarone” – is situated in what was once the building’s back yard, under a glass roof supported by rows of columns. It serves a fine buffet breakfast and snacks, drinks and meals all day.
