Great hotel, great breakfast, friendly staff and maids, nothing is too much trouble.
A bit of noise from the streets at night, given the location.
Top Tip
Go for tea to Cafe Camelot, eat anywhere - it's good and reasonably priced - but do end the (civilised) night in BAROQUE, the nightclub for anyone with manners. Prossecco is very affordable as are vodka shots and Mojitos.

Very central, just off the main square.

I would recommend a visit to Auschwitz but look for one where you get a bit longer at Auschwitz 2 (Birkenau). We only got half an hour and would have preferred another hour there.

For such a good hotel the room curtains were pretty hopeless, and there should have been a warning not to drink the tap water, as we were advised by a Cracow resident. The restaurant is too expensive for evening meals, which is why I've knocked points off facilities.
Top Tip
Cracow is good for up to 4-5 days. Similar in its way to Prague but more compact: You can cover most aspects on foot. A University city and therefore not a bad nightlife.
Lots of good places to eat cheaply. Friendly people, most of whom seem to speak English. Probably not for young kids.

The only problem with the hotel was no tea/ coffee facilities in the room when asked why it was to do with health regulations? also room service was limited to a small part of the food menu, and no breakfast in bed./If they were to address this i would stay in the hotel again.

Beautiful old gothic-style hotel. Room was faultless & clean. Staff a little indifferent otherwise efficient. Great position near the square which is stunning!

Try the Miod Malina or 'Honey Rasperry' restaurant at 40 Grodska St, superb! DO NOT be tempted to get into a taxi when you exit the airport unless you have money to burn! They will charge you around 90zt (about £22) for a 15min trip! Instead, jump on the free bus to the nearby train staition where you can get a nice, comfortable train into Krakow for 6zt each (about £1.50), HUGE difference! Also, if you're doing the Auschwitz trip by bus then DONT leave it until the last bus of the day to get back - it will be packed & you may have to stand up for an hour or more, not good after all the walking you'll have done! Better to get the train anyway. Bon Voyage!

Following a plumbing problem we were moved to a more superior room for our stay. Right in the heart of the city, couldn't be better situated. Within walking distance of everything.
