This hotel is positioned within the city walls and boasts an excellent location, just off the main street. Enjoy a high level of service from staff at this hotel who go out of their way to make each stay memorable. Rooms are very spacious and well equipped although the noise level at night can be a slight problem due to the location. For people looking for a good 3 star hotel with character in an excellent location and not too worried about the noise levels, then this is definitely one to consider.
The Polski Pod Bialym Orlem Hotel (translated as 'Under the White Eagle') is housed in three adjacent 18th century townhouses, owned by the Czartoryski family who have run the hotel since it was first established. The hotel itself is decorated very sympathetically and although the amenities are very modern it still retains an atmosphere of history and tradition. The lobby is medium sized with exposed brick walls and white painted arched ceilings, which are evident throughout the property. From the entrance you can access the guestrooms via a grand staircase.
