Formerly part of the Sofitel chain, the Forum Hotel is a large property, which sits on the opposite side of the river from the Castle and the Old Town. The 279 guestrooms are still quite old-fashioned and have something of the atmosphere of ex-Soviet Intourist Hotels. None the less, they are clean and well maintained, with most of them offering a nice view across the Vistula River. The restaurant serves both international cuisine and regional specialities. There's also an art gallery within the hotel, which strongly favours local artists.
