The Sheraton is located on the banks of the Vistula River, only a short walk from Wawel Castle and the Old Town and 15 minutes from the Market Square.

The Sheraton Hotel is a purpose built modern property, which uses lots of glass and steel in its construction and features a central glass-ceilinged atrium. The medium sized lobby is simply appointed and welcoming, with a reception desk to the left of the entrance. It leads onto the immense atrium, which has a full-grown olive tree standing in the centre of it. The 232 good-sized guestrooms have warm, contemporary interiors featuring neutral décor, dark wood furnishings and soft lighting. They are clean and well maintained, as are the tiled en suite bathrooms. The light and airy Olive Restaurant, located in the atrium, serves a Mediterranean menu, including Polish specialities, with live piano music, and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is also a laid-back Mexican eatery, called Some Place Else, and guests can drink in the Qube Vodka Bar, which serves coffee, cakes and light snacks throughout the day, and unusual vodka mixes by night.
